August 14, 2014 (-Newnan, GA) The Newnan-Coweta Chamber has announced the Top 10 Finalists and the six Honorable Mention award winners for the 2014 Small Business of the Year Awards presented by SouthTowne Motors.
“This is always a highlight of our year,” said Candace Boothby, President and CEO of The Chamber. “Small businesses are the backbone of the economy and we work hard to help Coweta’s small businesses succeed. This award recognizes the accomplishments of all businesses by honoring a special few each year. “The Top 10 Finalists are: 85 South Out and About Magazine; Air Power Hydraulics, Inc.; Higgins and Smith CPAs; Key Promotions; My Kidz Dentist, PC; My Rent Source, LLC; Newnan GNC; PrintSource; Something Special Events Facility; and UNIGLOBE McIntosh Travel, Inc.
The 2014 Honorable Mention Award Winners are: Balanced Family Wellness; Bubbles and Brushes Art Studio;
Keith Ross, Country Financial; Meineke Car Care Center; Shine ‘n Drive Car Wash; and Southern Crescent
Awards will be given in three categories: The Entrepreneur Category (1-5 Employees), The Growth Category (6-
19 Employees), the Employer Category (20-99 Employees).
The SouthTowne Motors Small Business of the Year Award will be presented to the overall winner.
Results will be announced at the Small Business of the Year Awards luncheon on August 21, 2014, at 11:30
a.m. The luncheon will be held at the Newnan Centre, 1515 Lower Fayetteville Road, Newnan.
The Small Business of the Year Award will be followed by other activities, including The Chamber’s first B2B
Small Business Showcase from 1-5 p.m., presented by Coweta-Fayette EMC, followed by a Business-After-
Hours presented by Progressive Heating and Air.
